Alma Cocina (Soul Kitchen) is about introducing Atlanta to a refreshing new approach to modern Mexican and Latin cuisine. Bright, fresh ingredients and traditional regional influences come together with other Latin American flavors in a variety of vibrant fresh dishes. We also feature the most unique tequila selections and a host of innovative Latin-influenced cocktails beyond, but including, a superior margarita.

About Executive Chef Chad Clevenger
Executive Chef Clevenger was the chef/owner of Agave Grill and Mel’s Bar & Grill in Denver receiving such awards as “Best American Restaurant in Denver” and “Top 10 Fine Dining Restaurants in Denver.” Clevenger’s past experience also includes work as a private chef in France, for acclaimed lyricist Leslie Bricusse. While in France, he staged at two Michelin starred restaurants on the French Riviera: Le Saint Paul Restaurant and Hotel and Le Maximin. With his strong background in Mexican and Southwestern cuisine, and posole and tamale recipes that have been voted the best in Denver, Clevenger is a natural fit for the Latin flavors and spirited atmosphere of Alma Cocina.
